Handblown Glass Bowls “I love making bowls because
even though they look easy, they’re actually really difficult to do well.
Getting the lip to stay where I want it to stay is especially challenging.
Unlike planets or platters, I can create bowls in a million different sizes and
shapes. Plus it’s fun to play with the interaction between the patterns inside
the bowl and whatever is going on outside.”
Note: Simpson glass is photographed in strong
studio light to reveal the maximum depth and detail of each piece. Colors will vary
slightly in different lighting situations.
